When you're Lebanese and raised in Dearborn, Michigan, you know when you're eating authentic Lebanese food.  Ever since I moved to Los Angeles ten years ago, I've been looking for an eatery that reminded me of my father's home-cooked Lebanese food, and of the multitude of Lebanese restaurants in the Detroit area.  As the saying goes, "When God closes a door, he opens a window."  Sabra Beirut Mix is that window.  Their food is authentic Lebanese cuisine, and second to none.  Today is my birthday.  My brother wanted to treat me to what he considered to be "the next best thing to Dad's cooking."  Congratulations Sabra Beirut Mix.  You've won that title.  On their Pocket Menu, they say they'll "put a smile on your party."  They put a smile in my heart.  Happy Birthday to me!

The food, the owners, the service - this is the reason to not go to a chain again.  The end unit of a small strip mall on the east side of PCH between 5th and 6th - Its easy to find. The Fattoush salad is the bomb. Fresh and crisp with with chunks of roasted pita and that zesty Lime vinegarette.

They now serve kebob and STILL make everything fresh as can be without eating it RAW!

Ive been to their old place back on Artesia Blvd. And was soooo disappointed to see them go! Now, they got their groove back. (And, Ill probably get back the 10 pounds i lost when they closed the old location.)

This Lebanese restaraunt's chicken is the most wonderful chicken. It's rottisserie chicken reminds of eating at one of my friends house who is from Iran. It's just like the real thing.  Their special rice is like no other rice there is. I would definetely reccomend this Lebanese restaraunt to anyone who tries to eat healthy. There is not one thing on the menu that is very bad for you. Also the owner and his wife are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Anyone who is traveling should go there. They come up to your table and really make you feel good. You should really go."

"My entire family was excited to see a new Middle Eastern restaurant in the South Bay.  We tested it first with just two of us and everything was delicious, so we brought the entire family the next day.  The result, authentic and tasty.  We will be regulars and already highly recommend many of the dishes."
